Kidde model i9080 smoke detector, comes with a 9V battery.This smoke alarm is battery powered with Ionization and with a safety light to help guide you to safety. This smoke alarm has the hush feature and test button. When the red light flashes every 30-40 seconds it means that the alarm is operating correctly. If the smoke alarm is low on battery this smoke alarm will chirp indicating that it needs a battery change.
